Local performing artist Laura Enslin performs the soprano solo part in Steve Button's arrangement of a song composed by Syrian singer/songwrtiter, Farah Siraj.  Siraj's song put to music the text of Alareer's famous poem.  The piece is scored for soprano soloist, vocal ensemble and trombone octet.  This perfomance, conducted by Steve Frank at May Memorial on May 16. 2026 was the premiere of this arrangement.
